ColorLight is an application used to control and analyze the measurements of MSU spectrophotometer :

  • Colorimetric and spectral characterization of light sources in the visible domain
  • Colorimetric and spectral characterization of surface in the visible domain

It offers a friendly use which allows the user to realize different actions according to the system used :

  • Display of measurement spectra in the visible (380 to 780 nm)
  • Display of the charts CIE 1931, UCS
  • Analysis of the source with determination of the following colorimetric parameters:
    • The coordinates X, Y, Z, x, y, u ‘, v’
    • The color temperature CCT
    • The purity P
    • Length of the dominant wave
    • Color rendering index (CRI (8) and CRI (14))
    • Length of the maximum wave

This analysis is carried out under an observation angle of 2 ° or 10 ° as defined in the current regulations

  • Analysis of the surface with determination of the following colorimetric parameters:
    • The coordinates X, Y, Z, x, y, u ‘, v’
    • The coordinates L, a, b, c, h
    • Delta E (2000, 94, 1976, 1984)

This analysis is carried out under an observation angle of 2 ° or 10 ° as defined in the current regulations with illuminant D65

It also allows to export the measurements carried out in order to be able to reopen these measures later on the software.

The software allow to generate the file of measurement results in formats text.
